Paden and Amelia were both very excited to start school today. Paden is a 3rd grader now! He is getting way too grown up for my tastes. What a good kid he is! Amelia is now in 1st grade and was eager to see her friends. I hope she loves school as much as last year. This is the first year that Paden gets to go to the same school. I think it has helped him become quite resilient, but I love that he knows the layout of the school and has friends already. We met their teachers on Monday and they both seem very nice and enthusiastic.

First Day of School
Paden and Amelia were both very excited to start school today. Paden is a 3rd grader now! He is getting way too grown up for my tastes. What a good kid he is! Is this not the classic shot?! I remember standing out in front of my house every year on the first day for the dreaded photo :). We just can't resist as parents. They look so cute and as always, Amelia's hair is perfection!
How sweet! I can't believe how fast they grow up. Our first day is Monday and both the kids and I are getting kind of excited. Are you coming to see your sister before she moves next summer? I hope so!!
