Last weekend we went to the rodeo, one of the BIG things to look forward to. The kids loved the animals, sites and smells (of the foods, of course!), and lots of our friends were there, too. There was a longhorn cattle drive through the base, which is a pretty rare and neat thing to see.
Larisa loved riding the pony and was heart broken when her time was up! Maybe I should go into business and charge $5 a pop at rodeos and fairs. If only we had the property for my newmillion-dollar idea!
The girls got up close and personal with the longhorns. Amelia said their tongues were slimy and LONG! Reesa kept stuffing hay up their noses.

Rich has always wanted to ride bulls and I was more than happy for him to get it out of his system on this particular bull!

I am so amazed the girls were so close to the animals...mine would never put hay in their mouths (or noses)!
